Kalos Partners
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 April 2026
This privacy policy explains how Kalos Partners (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes personal data when you visit kalos.partners or contact us by email. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your data lawfully and transparently in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679, “GDPR”) and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Data Controller
The data controller is Kalos Partners. You can contact us at hello@kalos.partners.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect very limited personal data:
- Information you send us by email. If you contact us at hello@kalos.partners, we receive your email address, name (if provided), and the content of your message.
- Technical data from your visit. When you load this site, your browser automatically transmits standard technical information (such as your IP address, device type, and browser version) to the servers that deliver the page. We do not log or store this information ourselves.
- Cookies. This website does not set any cookies and does not use analytics or tracking technologies.
3. Why we process your data and the legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and where applicable, the steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To deliver the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating this site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Third-party services and international transfers
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the site and respond to enquiries:
- Google Workspace (email hosting at hello@kalos.partners). Email content is processed by Google LLC. Transfers outside the European Economic Area are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Google Fonts (font delivery). When you load this site, your browser fetches typefaces from fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com, which transmits your IP address to Google. [See note from Claude — recommendation is to self-host fonts to avoid this. If self-hosted, this paragraph can be removed.]
- Cloudflare hosts this website. Server logs may include your IP address for the limited time necessary to deliver the page and protect the service from abuse.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep email correspondence for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose of the conversation and any follow-up — typically up to 24 months from the last contact, after which it is deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law or by an active business relationship.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
- Restrict or object to our processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for visitors in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali; in other EU member states, your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, please email hello@kalos.partners.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
9. Contact
For any question regarding this policy or your personal data, contact us at hello@kalos.partners.
